The book "A Recipe-Free Book, for the Teacher. Phase 6: Secondary Mode" by the Mexican Public Education Secretariat focuses on the continuous training of secondary teachers, based on the New Mexican School and Paulo Freire's thought. Divided into eleven sections, it covers from Mexico's historical processes to Marxist concepts of class struggle, interpreting history as a series of social conflicts. The text argues that understanding these conflicts is essential for educators, who should form critical and socially aware students. Through a decolonial perspective, it criticizes neoliberalism and proposes an education that values community, inclusion, and ancestral knowledge, contrasting with traditional educational practices. Finally, it suggests a pedagogy that challenges the status quo, promoting profound social change through education.
