Abstract

Challenges and Obstacles in Early Childhood Education and Care is a book that brings together experiences and reflections on pedagogical practices, the scaffolding of knowledge, and innovative proposals for addressing and analysing education at the initial level, in both formal and non-formal education in Ecuador. The book comprises ten chapters; each one addresses topics of interest for early childhood education. The chapters are directed at governmental entities, teachers, and student teachers in initial education who need to understand educational and training needs, as well as new pedagogical practices aligned with the current context, from an inclusive and quality-focused perspective.
