Empoderando a los estudiantes en la clase de Lengua inglesa

Tomando como marco de referencia la Conciencia Crítica del Lenguaje, este artículo presenta una experiencia realizada con un grupo de docentes en formación en el último curso de la Licenciatura en Educación Primaria (Inglés) de la Universidad de Sevilla. El objetivo de la experiencia es brindarles estrategias efectivas para empoderar a los estudiantes en el aula de inglés. La experiencia se compone de una prueba de diagnóstico, un seminario personalizado y un taller, y muestra que se debe incluir un componente crítico en los programas de capacitación de maestros para garantizar que el aprendizaje del idioma inglés contribuya al empoderamiento del alumno.
