Inovação social e desenvolvimento local sustentável: o caso da comunidade indígena de Tlajomulco

Esse artigo tem o objetivo de analisar projetos inovadores exitosos na promoção do desenvolvimento sustentável e melhoramento da qualidade de vida das comunidades indígenas em México. Consideraram-se três projetos: parque eco turístico, casa comunal e agronegócios na comunidade indígena de Tlajomulco (Jalisco) para o estudo dos alcances e limitações da inovação social na promoção do desenvolvimento local sustentável. Usou-se uma metodologia qualitativa com pesquisa-ação participativa. As conclusões da pesquisa verificaram que a colaboração é essencial para que os projetos sejam exitosos, mas sem depender exclusivamente da existência de confiança e benefícios mútuos dos atores involucrados do jeito que sugeriu a literatura, mas também da capacidade para transcender os interesses individuais e trabalhar conjuntamente para a realização dos interesses coletivos que fomentem o desenvolvimento sustentável da comunidade. Isso representa uma contribuição à literatura especializada da área e chama a refletir e agir para promover práticas colaborativas efetivas boas no campo do desenvolvimento local sustentável.
