Historiar as transições: A importância da teoria histórica para pesquisa das transições energéticas

Resumo
O artigo apresenta quatro perspectivas sobre a história e a teoria da mudança social e estrutural de longo prazo. O trabalho discute como tais concepções podem contribuir nos estudos sobre transições, história ambiental, historização do Antropoceno, história vista de baixo e a pluralidade temporal. O objetivo é promover maior compromisso com a reflexão histórica como uma forma de conhecimento acerca das transições, à medida que avançamos no trabalho de propor futuros alternativos, mais equitativos e com baixos niveis de emissão de carbono.
