Germán Colmenares: un historiador visto en fragmentos
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article discusses the historiographical contribution of Germán Colmenares. The author analyzes in particular the scope of the historiographic project called Regional History, the contexts in which Colmenares developed his theoretical reflections, namely its concern for the development of Colombian historiography beginning with his flexible models of interpretation for the study of “marginal” scenarios, and his inquiries into colonial, social and economic history as pertaining to the study of border regions as an avenue of analysis of social and cultural relations.
