Dealing with Differences: Responses from the Ecuadorian and Colombian Constitutional Justice

Abstract
This paper assumes that one of the most urgent contemporary problems is the big difficulty to get related with those who are different, whatever this difference may be, and to build forms of cohabitation that overcome the dominant visions based on hierarchies. law have to address these issues. In each resolution we find a dispute that gives sense and meaning to the rights that are at stake in a determined case, and such suit is linked to the beliefs, ideologies, and ways to understand the world of those who judge. Thus, in this work I analyze resolutions emitted by the Constitutional Courts of Ecuador and Colombia, in order to find answers to this question. How do the Constitutional ecuadorian and Colombian Courts deal with those cases in which differences among people araise?
