Abstract
This presentation aims to reflect on a proposal that has gained traction in recent times: the social contract between women and men. Thus, by invoking Rousseau's social contract as the foundation for the construction of the State, a new version of it is proposed. This contract, it is argued, must be established between the two genders, and through it, the conditions for a new social coexistence in which citizens of all genders participate equally should be defined.
