Ecuador-Colombia relations in comparative perspective

By putting emphasis on the period before and after the Angostura incident, which lead to the rupture of diplomatic relations, this article reviews the main factors that have been influencing the foreign relations of Ecuador and Colombia since the late 90s. In addition, the article explores the areas of common interests for Colombia and Ecuador that might have potential for deeping their cooperation.
