Andean integration in the context of the subregional crisis
Abstract
This article studies recent trends in the economic relations among the Andean co un tries, and makes a balance of their process of economic integration. This analysis takes into consideration the deep economic crises hitting all Andean countries over the last years, the institutional limitations of the Andean System of Integration, and the democratic and social deficit which threatens the stability of all the societies of the Andean Community of Nations.
