World economy conjuncture. Perspective of a generalized crisis?
Abstract
Given the decline in U.S. financial growth and its commercial and financial impact world-wide, the forecasts for the world economy now look dim. The promises of a new end-of-the-century economy remain unaccomplished and the financial markets continue to be characterized as highly volatile. Despite reductions in interest rates and taxes, the debate over what is to come with regards to the North American and world economies remains open, with the threat of a sizeable crisis to come.
