George W. Bush foreign policy
Abstract
This article offers a reflection on the foreign politics of George W. Bush. Based on the argument that, in the past, the differences in the foreign politics of democrats and republicans have not been significantly different, the article suggests that there is probably no reason to think this will change in the future. According to the author; both parties define their foreign politics within flexible parameters. Yet, the author suggests possibly different foreign policy attitudes of the new administration towards Latin America and especially related to the themes of ALCA and Plan Colombia.
