Abstract

This article analyzes the process of indigenous justice of the case publicly known as "La Cocha 2". Its aim is to detail the implementation of the five stages that apply Kichwa communities in Ecuador, especially in the Province of Cotopaxi, and, finally, allow an analogy to what in Western law is known as the Right to Due Process. It seeks to be a contribution to the discussion on indigenous justice, eliminate certain stereotypes, but mainly to broaden the discussion to respect and guarantee.
